OUR PHILOSOPHY

HOW WE GIVE BACK

We believe great places leave a lasting legacy beyond the homes themselves. That’s why community, long-term impact and genuine local engagement sit at the heart of how we build.

Through targeted partnerships, dedicated community contributions and active involvement in the neighbourhoods we develop, we aim to create meaningful impact that extends well beyond construction — supporting local initiatives, strengthening connections and contributing positively to the places people call home.

“Together, we aim to drive positive
change, creating a sustainable,
inclusive, and resilient future.”

COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT

Across our projects, we actively reinvest into local initiatives and community organisations, ensuring that as our developments grow, so too does our contribution to the communities that support them. Our approach is reflected through long-term partnerships, direct financial reinvestment, hands-on involvement and the sharing of our time and expertise.

We work closely with councils, not-for-profits, schools, healthcare providers and community groups to identify where our involvement can have the greatest impact. As part of this commitment, we donate $1,000 for every dwelling developed, directing funds toward initiatives that support education, wellbeing, food security and stronger community connection.

Reach Foundation Partnership

Supporting young people at critical stages of their development is a key focus of our community involvement. We are proud to collaborate with the Reach Foundation, sponsoring school outreach programs across both primary and secondary schools.

Through these programs, Reach supports young people to build strong social and emotional foundations, strengthen resilience, empathy and acceptance, and develop a greater sense of self and purpose. By fostering more inclusive and supportive learning environments, these initiatives reflect our belief that investing in young people delivers lasting benefits for individuals, schools and the broader community.

St Kilda and Balaclava Kindergarten

This project is proudly developed by DM Property at no cost as part of our commitment to ESG. St Kilda and Balaclava Kindergarten (SKBK) is a community-run long day kindergarten that has served local families for more than 110 years – a place where children’s voices are heard and their individuality is respected.

The project seeks to revitalise the kindergarten through a renovation focused on inclusion and accessibility. Designed by JFK Design, the works carefully balance historic preservation with modern innovation, delivering interiors that support diverse sensory needs and a range of learning styles.

OUR Long-Term
Commitment

DOING GOOD FEELS GOOD

Our community initiatives are guided by the same principles that underpin our developments – thoughtfulness, accountability, and long-term impact. We do not view community contribution as an obligation, but as an integral part of responsible development. By investing in people, partnerships, and local initiatives, we aim to build not just homes, but stronger, more connected communities.

This commitment is embedded into each project through dedicated community contributions and meaningful local engagement. Whether supporting grassroots organisations, funding place-based initiatives or partnering with trusted community groups, we seek to ensure our presence creates measurable, lasting value beyond the buildings we deliver.

INNOVATION. INTEGRITY. IMPACT
